Deleting your data
Draft for review. This page describes what the software actually
does, so it is accurate as a starting point — but it has not been
reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. Have your own counsel
check it, and fill in the operator details marked
[in brackets], before you rely on it for a platform
submission.
Deleting everything
Sign in, open Accounts, and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no soft delete.
Deleting your account removes:
- your email address and password hash;
- every connected social account and its stored tokens — and we call each platform to withdraw the authorization, so we cannot post there again even in error;
- every post, draft, scheduled post and its publishing history;
- every image you uploaded, including the files on disk, not just the database rows;
- the engagement figures we had collected for your posts;
- your security log entries, including the IP addresses in them;
- every active sign-in, so no existing session keeps working.
Deleting part of it
- One social account — Accounts → the bin icon on that account. Its tokens are deleted and the authorization is withdrawn at the platform. Posts already published there stay published; deleting them is done on the platform itself.
- One post — Posts → delete. This removes the post and its images from Orvoro Social. It does not retract anything already published to a platform.
- One image — remove it from the composer or delete it from the post it belongs to.
What we cannot delete for you
Once a post is live on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or X, that copy belongs to that platform and must be deleted there. Removing it from Orvoro Social does not remove it from them.
Backups
[Describe your backup retention here.] If you keep database backups, say how long deleted data may persist in them and that it is not restored to live use.
Asking us instead
If you cannot sign in, email [privacy contact email] from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We will confirm within [30 days].
